WORKSHOP AIM:
– to promote networking among colleagues who work in national HEIs in the area of pedagogical training for Faculty members
– to provide an opportunity to jointly discuss the potential of this area (its challenges and opportunities), as well as any constraints and problems that arise in the implementation of such initiatives.

PROGRAM:
– Lecture: Introduction to the theme of the continuous professional development for Faculty
– Group exercise: reflection on the challenges and opportunities of pedagogical training in Portuguese institutions of Higher Education;
– Group exercise: Presentation of collaborative work and group discussion
– Wrap-up: ‘Good Practices’ in the area of career development for Faculty and how pedagogical training can respond to the challenges that arise and mitigate the problems encountered
